Our squadron will also take part in many other activities when not in training as such. Below we will slowly but surely add other interesting pictures of activities cadets can get involved in.

The Spitfire Walk 2003. The Spitfire walk is mainly to raise money for the Battle of Britain Memorial funds. The walk the cadets are doing here was 26km long, and look at that slope! |
A note from the webmaster ...
I would just like to remind our visitors... since all the cadets give me their work to add to our website, I get to read and hear some really interesting stories (having not been there personally). Their "Adventures" sound like so much fun and yet, as examples, Annual Camps cost in the region of £40 and week trips to Windermere or North Wales for outward bound type activities about £70! I remember being offered the chance to go on many trips like this with my school (as it had many connections and many chances for outings) but they would cost something like £500!!
You can clearly see the opportunities our cadets get, and I can't even begin to tell you about other trips they have been on, although you can see some here. This is why I would recommend young people enrolling into the Air Training Corps. As a member of our committee, (but also as a logical thinker!) the sheer opportunities available for such a small cost are not to be missed!
