This page is to thank everyone who has put any effort into making this website possible. There are (believe it or not) more people behind this than just me. Everyone at 1582 has had some input or has made some sort of appearance the site, so a big thank you to everyone involved in the 1582 training.

Thanks to (in no specific order):

Squadron C.O    -    For all the generous help and leadership our Commanding Officer provides and demonstrates, and all the paperwork he manages to generate at random for me to add to our website!

Adult staff    -    Without whom there would probably be no squadron. Thanks for all your hard work and effort (and, in some cases, patience) for and with the cadets.

The Cadets (of course!)    -    This website is compiled almost solely by the cadets, with only marginal input from adult staff and the CO. Of course, without the cadets there would be virtually no information on this site. They are the ones who really make the difference, as most of the input comes from them. So a big thank you to all cadets, keep it up! Special thanks to Sgt. Bagshaw, who has put in an amazing amount of work for the website not only in reports and writing, but also in helping with it's construction and progress, collecting reports from cadets about their escapades, and even presenting it on our presentation evening.

The Committee    -    The squadron committee (and other squadron committees) are rarely given enough credit for the work they do. All voluntary, this help is invaluable to the cadets. Where would they be on a cold Christmas evening on parade with no food at all? Not even a drink. Without the committee there would be no subs collected, no mid-evening snacks to be bought, and no friendly faces to talk to (and no Webmaster). For more details on the 1582 sqn. committee, please click here.

Parents    -    Thank you to all parents who have, first of all, allowed their children to attend cadet training. I guarantee you won't regret it. Secondly, for helping them get their kit ready (especially the younger ones) and for supporting them in all their activities. Finally for attending yourselves to see what it is that the squadron actually gets up to, and for making notes that your children might just forget! Thanks again, and please come back and visit soon!

Squadron Padre    -    The squadron has its very own Padre! Without the Reverend John Guest, the cadets would not have a special presentation when being enrolled or getting special accreditation. Also, there would be no place for our cadets to train, as he graciously allows us to use his church hall for our training evenings. More importantly, however, the Padre visits the squadron and gives some fantastic talks and holds very interesting discussions, and these really get the cadets thinking about others. He belongs to the Hope Committee, the site of which you can view here. Thank you so much, John, for your most enjoyable input and help within the squadron.

*Specific mention

This section is solely for specific work put forward for the cadets or for this website.

Corporal Kingham, 276 (Chelmsford) Squadron    -    The Corporal helped with the testing of certain aspects of the website "behind the scenes" but has devoted a small amount of his time to helping with the site's progression, and so he is mentioned here.

Thank you to Mr. Meacham, who has helped the webmaster a lot in the production of the website, mainly in corrections! (Also he has taken a lot of photos for us... thanks again!)
