Thorpe Park Visit
Thanks to the squadron staff and civilian committee, all of us got to go to Thorpe Park for a great day out for only a tenner! We all got soaked on the water rides as well as from the rain (but some cheeky committee members managed to stay dry!)
As we arrived quite early, we managed to miss most of the queues on the best rides. Colossus, the world's only ten loop rollercoaster was shut when we first got there though so I had to work up the courage to go on it later on in the day. All though a lot of the scary and best rides were fun, I spent a lot of them with my eyes shut and screaming!
The day was great fun but when we got back to the coach, we had to wait 45 minutes for a few committee members. This left an extremely embarrassed and red faced corporal at the back of the coach as one of the missing people was his Mum! The journey home was a LOT of fun as we played the classic coach game looking for Mini's, yellow cars and BT vans. By the time we got home, everyone was very tired but had had a lot of fun.
