Cadets receiving their First Class certificates

At the end of September, the first class to come into the Squadron via the new intake, “graduated” and all members past their First Class Cadet exam. This is the culmination of the hard work put in by the cadets since joining in March.  The subjects covered were Drill, the ATC and the RAF, Navigation, Initial Expedition Training (IET), and Airmanship.

They can now enjoy all of the opportunities that the ATC can provide them such as flying and Annual Camp. Next for them is the Leading cadet exam and work will start in that imminently. Well done to Cadets North, Smith, Butler and Law.

N.B since going to press Cadet Smith has since left the Squadron. Good luck to him in whatever he does in the future.
