Essex Wing Swimming Gala 2004

    On Saturday 11th September 2004, most of the squadrons in Essex wing met up for the annual ATC Swimming gala, this year held at Basildon.1582 Squadron had two competitors Cdts Meacham and Ford-Lissenden. Meacham was in the Jnr boys freestyle and Ford-Lissenden was in the Jnr boys Backstroke. Both cadets managed to get into their respective finals, with respectable times. Unfortunately neither came away with medals after both finishing in 5th place. we are proud of both our boys never the less. Well done both of you!
