Battle of Britain 2005

    On the 18th of September 2005 we celebrated the Battle of Britain with a parade at the Grays cenotaph. I was carrying a rifle on parade (I would be otherwise known as the "sleeping sentry") along with Cdt Costen and two other cadets from 106 Orsett hundred squadron.

    Cpl Tolson was carrying the standard, and the rest of our squadron were in the parade along with some of the cadets from 106 sqn. Sgt Gardner laid our wreath.

    Afterwards, both squadrons from the ATC and the people that attended the parade were invited back to the RAFA club for refreshments, and were allowed to talk to the cadets. The cadets are allowed upstairs there, and we have fun and entertainment.
